Although Microsoft was touting that the Xbox 360 would feature a simultaneous worldwide release date, this was technically not true as it took a few months to be released in most of the important locatio of the world. Even so, releasing a co ole to most of the world in a matter of months is impre ive and a first for the video game industry. Microsoft Xbox 360 Release Dates:
November 22, 2005 in the territories of United States and Canada
December 2, 2005 in the territory of Europe
December 10, 2005 in the territory of Japan
February 2, 2006 in the territory of Mexico
February 24, 2006 in the territory of South Korea
March 16, 2006 in the territories of Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan
March 23 in the territories of Australia and New Zealand
Wii came out:
On September 14, 2006, Nintendo a ounced release information for Japan, North and South America, Australasia (Oceania), Asia and Europe, including dates, prices, and projected unit distribution numbers. It was a ounced that the majority of the 2006 shipments would be allotted to the Americas,

The United Kingdom suffered a large shortage of co ole units as many high-street and online stores were unable to fulfill all pre-orders when it was released on December 8, 2006.
The Wii was launched in South Korea on April 26, 2008, in Taiwan on July 12, 2008
and will be released in China sometime in 2008.
