最近重拍红楼成了热门话题，而且经典的87版《红楼梦》也引大家的不断回顾，下面就告诉大家一些当年《红楼梦》剧组的选角内幕。

1979年，王扶林导演就有意把古典名著《红楼梦》搬上荧屏。这一设想得到了中央电视台和北京
红学界的支持。1981年11月召开专题会议研究改编问题。1983年2月成立筹备组，5月成立编剧组，8月成立顾问委员会。1983年12月完成剧本初稿。用了约两年的时间，从全国各地数万名候选人中遴选出一百多名演员。1984年春夏在北京圆明园先后举办了两期红剧演员学习班。让他们研究原著，分析角色，同时学习琴棋书画，陶冶自己的情趣，最后确定角色。为拍摄的需要，在北京市宣武区按照原著的描绘，设计建造了大观园；在河北正定县建造了宁国府、荣国府和宁荣街。1984年2月9日试拍，9月10日正式开机，在安徽黄山拍下了第一组镜头，至1987年上半年完成，先后到10个省市的41个地区的219个景点，共拍摄了近一万个镜头。
下面，先说说主角中的重头戏，林黛玉。当年几个主角的侯选演员都是按组分的，黛玉组中除了最后的扮演者陈晓旭，还有最后演了晴雯的张静林、演了宝珠的王晓洁、演了秋桐的的沈璐、演了惜春的胡泽红和演了秦可卿的张蕾等等。
