经济学家阅读心得，时间120'（至少）/次，这个可以在第n个月开始，关键是自己的时间安排： 1下载经济学家杂志 2打开经济学家，同时还有金山词霸屏幕取词，和标准表格，随时准备记录词汇 3遇到不认识的，不熟悉的词汇，立刻屏幕取词 4 取词后，立刻把基本意思，音标等全部一起复制（这样比较快），粘帖到标准表格的右边一个方格内 5不断的重复4，然后2小时之后，从最后开始，往上，一个个的重新看一遍，看的同时把右边那各方格内的汉语意思，拖动到左边去 6发布到分享里面的分享板块的经济学家专栏里面。
坚持这个板块两个月，就能够让自己看外文杂志，如鱼得水！！！
虽然作为上班族，时间不由自己掌控，但是，还是要努力做到！

From Europe and Asia to the Middle East, many expre ed amazement that the US could overcome centuries of racial strife and elect an African-American president.
"If it were po ible for me to get to the United States on my bicycle, I would," said Joseph Ochieng, a 36-year-old carpenter who lives in Kenya's rawling Kibera shantytown.
Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki declared a public holiday Thursday in the country of Obama's late father, allowing celebratio to continue through the night and into a second day.
Scenes of jubilation broke out in the western Kenya village of Kogelo, where many of Obama's Kenyan relatives still live. People sang, danced in the streets and wra ed themselves in U.S. flags. A group of exuberant residents picked up the president-elect's half brother Malik and carried him through the village.
"U elievable!" Malik Obama shouted, "Obama's coming, make way!"
Nelson Mandela, South Africa's first black president, said Obama gave the world the courage to dream.
"Your victory has demo trated that no person anywhere in the world should not dare to dream of wanting to change the world for a better place," Mandela said in a letter of congratulatio .
Liberian President Ellen Joh on-Sirleaf — the first woman elected to head an African country — said she did not expect to see a black American president in her lifetime.
"All Africa now know that if you persevere, all things are po ible," she said.
In the New Nyanza provincial general ho ital in Kisumu, the capital of the region which is home to Barack Obama's ancestral village, a woman gave birth to twi she named Obama and Michelle.
At least eight other boys were named Barack or Obama in this ho ital alone while maternities in the capital Nairobi and acro the entire country reported new namesakes for the future occupants of the White House.
Indonesia, Asia
In Indonesia, where Obama lived as child, hundreds of students at his former elementary school erupted in cheers when he was declared wi er, pouring into the courtyard where they hugged, danced in the rain and chanted "Obama! Obama!"
"I remember in the cla book, all students were writing down their goals and wishes. Some said they wanted to be lawyers, soldiers, pilot and doctors, but he was the one who said he wanted to be president," said Dewi Asmara, a former cla mate.
"We never understood what was on his mind that day."
Obama's cla mates said they were delighted with his win because they felt a ecial emotional co ection with the Democrat who ent four years in Indonesia.
Japan, Asia
The town of Obama, Japan, celebrated the presidential victory of the US politician who shares the town's name with singing, dancing and chanting.
Parties at the town's seafront museum featured revelers celebrating the victory of Democratic President-elect Barack Obama, the first black president of the United States, with celebratory singing, hula dancing and chants of "We love Obama," The Daily Telegraph reported Wednesday.
"This all started as a bit of a joke. But as more and more people got involved, it became more serious," said Yasunori Maeno, secretary of the Obama for Obama campaign group. "Now there are many busine es involved in the Obama campaign and it will continue now that he is president. This will change the future for us."
The Obama for Obama group said more than 1,300 residents of the town of 33,000 participated in their campaign during the past four months.
Europe, where Obama is overwhelmingly popular, is one region that looked eagerly to an Obama administration for a revival in warm relatio after the Bush government's chilly rift with the continent over the Iraq war.
"At a time when we have to confront imme e challenges together, your election raises great hopes in France, in Europe and in the rest of the world," French President Nicolas Sarkozy said in a congratulatio letter to Obama.
Middle East
Skepticism, however, was high in the Muslim world. The Bush administration alienated the Middle East by mistreating prisoners at its detention center at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and inmates at Iraq's Abu Ghraib prison — human rights violatio also condemned worldwide.
Some Iraqis, who have suffered through five years of a war ignited by the United States and its allies, said they would believe positive change when they saw it.
"Obama's victory will do nothing for the Iraqi i ue nor for the Palestinian i ue," said Muneer Jamal, a Baghdad resident. "I think all the promises Obama made during the campaign will remain mere promises."
American celebrities
Talk-show host Oprah Winfrey wept tears of joy, Leonardo DiCaprio said he was proud to be an American and several hip-hop music stars said Sen. Barack Obama's election as the first black U.S. president fulfilled the dreams of America's youth.

How different is his policy?
Barack Obama said all the right things about Africa—and left a few ticklish（不稳定的） ones u aid. The tone may shift a bit but the policy will be similar to George Bush’s“DEVELOPMENT depends on good governance（统治，管理）.” Said by a white Texan dynast （统治者）in Ghana（加纳）, an African country once ravaged（蹂躏） by the slave trade, that unexceptionable i ight might sound a shade patronising. Said by a son of Africa whose election to the world’s most powerful post thrilled the continent, it was taken at its re ectable face value. “We must start from the simple premise （前提）that Africa’s future is up to Africa .” In other words, throwing aid at bad governments—and Barack Obama made plain that there were still far too many of them—will not work. The president’s candour（直率，公正） was well received.
In truth, Mr Obama’s Africa policy is unlikely to differ much from his predece or（前辈）’s, which was viewed favourably by Africa in general and by most pundits（专家） of African development. There was little in the eech that could not have been said by George Bush, who poured a cascade（小瀑布） of cash—far more than any of his foreru ers（先驱）—into such projects as the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and into his Mille ium Challenge Accounts（千年挑战账户）, whose large e（慷慨捐赠的钱或物） was partly meant to reward good governance.
Mr Obama acknowledged Mr Bush’s “strong efforts”. But he puzzled analysts by declaring that his own administration had “committed $63 billion to meet these challenges”. It was unclear whether that sum included projects under way or was new money and, either way, what it was for and over what period it would be ent.
In several pa ages he stre ed that bad governments, e ecially corrupt （腐败）or repre ive（残暴） ones, could not expect his help. “I have directed my administration to give greater attention to corruption in our human-rights reports,” he said. He also a ailed tribalism（部落制）, which had, he said, “for a long stretch derailed（出轨）” his own Kenyan father’s career. And he singled out several miscreants for blaming their self-inflicted （自己造成的）woes on others. “The West is not re o ible for the destruction of the Zimbabwean（津巴布韦的） economy over the last decade,” he declared.
The choice of Ghana for his first African visit as president was pointed. Citing its recent succe both in economics and democracy, he praised “strong parliament honest police force independent judges [a lause]; an independent pre a vibrant （振动的）private sector; a civil society.” And he lauded （赞美）“leaders who accept defeat graciously”, as they did recently in Ghana, a rare event in Africa. “Africa doe ’t need strong me it needs strong i titutio .”
Mr Obama’s eech was equally notable for what it omitted. Some delicate but pre ing i ues were mentioned only cursorily（马虎地，粗糙地）. In keeping with his pronouncements elsewhere in the world, he avoided the phrase “war on terror” and skated over America’s growing need for African oil: about a quarter of what America requires will soon come from Africa, mainly Nigeria and Angola. He did not mention Nigeria’s crisis of security and production in its oil-rich Delta regio this week, rebels for the first time attacked Nigeria’s commercial capital, Lagos, killing eight guards and setting oil facilities ablaze.
In fact, though Mr Obama did not wish to dwell on security, his biggest headaches in Africa, as for Mr Bush, do still relate to armed conflict. His worst problem is Somalia, where his closest advisers u raided Mr Bush for worsening matters by arming Somali warlords who claimed to be fighting militant Islam. More recently, however, Mr Obama won a waiver from the UN to send arms to Somalia’s beleaguered government, which is threatened by jihadists (“terrorists”, he bluntly called them) with links to al-Qaeda. He is unlikely to let his warshi or aircraft bomb jihadist strongholds in Somalia for fear of enraging the civilian population. But equally he is plainly loth to let that failed state slide further into the domain of al-Qaeda.
Rather vaguely, he welcomed “ste being taken by organisatio like the Africa Union…to better resolve conflicts.” The AU, he preferred not to say, is patently failing to bolster Somalia’s government. Several of Mr Obama’s closest advisers on Africa are known to be disgusted by the AU’s refusal to isolate—let alone encourage the arrest of—Omar al-Bashir, Sudan’s leader, who has been indicted （控告）on charges of war criminality. “When there’s a genocide（种族灭绝） in Darfur,” said Mr Obama, “these aren’t simply African problems.” “We will stand behind efforts to hold war criminals accountable,” he said, without naming names. He failed to deplore the AU’s reluctance to co-operate with the International Criminal Court at The Hague（海牙国际刑事法院）, where Mr Obama hopes Mr Bashir will be sent.
Mr Obama’s administration may not yet have determined its policy towards Sudan. Several of his team, notably Susan Rice, his amba ador to the UN, and Samantha Power at the National Security Council, have in the past urged more robust action to deter Mr Bashir over Darfur. But Mr Obama’s new envoy to the conflict zone, Scott Gration, is seeking diplomatic engagement. It was under Mr Bush’s watch that a separate peace accord was hatched between the Sudanese government and a rebel movement in the south that may be offered the option of sece ion following a referendum（公民投票） promised for 2011. Mr Obama may well be called on to help sort out that me if conflict breaks out again, as many fear, within the next year or so.
Another awkward （难操作的）area for him is Kenya, the land of his own forebears. Along with the Nigeria （尼日尼亚人）and the South Africa , who may get a visit by Mr Obama during next year’s football World Cup, the Kenya were sad to have been pa ed over. (His secretary of state, Hillary Clinton, is due to visit next month for a big trade meeting.) Mr Obama barely mentioned Kenya in a favourable light. For sure, he is aware that the current president, Mwai Kibaki, is widely thought to have stolen the presidential election a year-and-a-half ago from Raila Odinga, now prime minister in a floundering power-sharing government, who ha e to hail from the same ethnic group as Mr Obama’s father. Yet the country has long been an American ally in security matters in the region. Mr Obama’s moment to try sorting out Kenya’s many problems may come. But not yet.
The deeper truth is that Africa is not high on the American president’s agenda. His Ghana eech was se ible and stirring. But in the end his me age was that African-American relatio would see no grand change.
